Aideen O'Hagan

Aideen is a psychotherapist, supervisor and trainer and is originally from Northern Ireland. She has many years of experience working in private practice and also within the voluntary sector specialising in the fields of substance misuse and bereavement. She is responsible for the creation and delivery of a bereavement counselling training within her local Hospice. Here she also delivers Loss and Grief training to other health professionals on the team.

Aideen brings a love of teaching to the Connexus Institute. She particularly enjoys training and drawing upon the lived experience of trainees and how this can be integrated into the shared group learning environment. Aideen has taught at a number of TA establishments, and as a committed lifelong learner herself, she is currently undertaking further training to become an EMDR practitioner.
