Hove, by the sea
Connexus Institute is at 5 The Drive, in a calm, residential part of Hove. The seafront is a few minutes’ walk away, and on a training day many of our students spend part of the lunch break by the beach huts or along Hove Lawns.
Church Road, close by, has cafés and delis for lunch. The centre of Brighton, with the Lanes, the theatres and the pier, is a short bus ride away.
A good place to train
Training asks a lot of you, and the setting helps. You can clear your head with a walk by the sea between sessions, and the South Downs National Park is close enough for a longer walk on a free day.
Brighton and Hove is also one of the most open and welcoming cities in the country, which suits training that asks you to bring the whole of yourself into the room.
Coming from further afield?
Many of our students travel in for training weekends. Hove station is a 12-minute walk away, with direct trains from London Victoria in just over an hour, and Gatwick is about 30 minutes by train. There are hotels, guest houses and short lets nearby, and some local people offer our students a room at a reasonable nightly rate. Email the Admin Team and we can put you in touch.
