Patrick Brook

Highly recognised in his field, during his career as a university lecturer and academic manager, Patrick taught extensively both in the UK and abroad. He has written widely on subjects such as ‘syllabus and curriculum design’ and ‘learner centredness’, and believes that engaging people is a key component in successful learning outcomes.

Initially, only planning to do one year out of interest in the theory, Patrick found the world of psychotherapy more meaningful, and is now an internationally approved TA trainer and clinical supervisor.

As well as holding a bachelor’s degree in the Humanities, a Masters degree in the field of Applied Linguistics and a teaching Diploma, Patrick is a UKCP registered psychotherapist and supervisor, a Certified Transactional Analyst, a Provisional Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst, and an NCS Senior Accredited counsellor and supervisor.
