Louise Lewis-Dowell

Louise has worked in Operations and People Management for over a decade. With experience spanning facilities management, employee experience, executive support and large-team leadership - most recently leading workplace operations across three UK offices for a fast-paced digital agency.

Louise loves creating environments where people can do their best work. That has meant everything from project-managing office refurbishments to keeping teams safe and connected through the pandemic, to building wellbeing programmes that people actually engage with.

Before moving into workplace and people operations Louise spent almost 20 years at John Lewis & Partners in a series of progressively senior roles, including Assistant General Manager and Business Protection Manager at the flagship store on Oxford Street.

As Operations Manager, Louise has overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Institute. She manages student and academic administration across our Core TA training, Diploma in Supervision and CPD programmes, from enquiries and applications through to student records and professional body registrations. She oversees the Connexus premises and facilities, including room hire, contractors and suppliers, and manages the Institute’s finance administration and operational systems, working alongside the Directors to keep Connexus running smoothly.

Outside of work Louise has a passion for music, dance, art and Italy.
